[Bakugou grits his teeth in sheer frustration. Jesus fucking Christ, can't Deku tell he's trying to be fucking nice here? Why does he have to question every goddamn thing that comes out of Bakugou's mouth??]
Don't make me regret hanging out with you, Deku. I said you could fucking pick one, and I meant it.
[A little huff, and Bakugou crosses his arms, the perfect picture of restrained anger. Maybe he's being too nice, and it's confusing poor Deku's dumb brain. That must be it. He doesn't say it out loud though, because that'll only start a fight, and he'd been challenged to be nice. For how long, he doesn't know, but it is what it is, and he refuses to lose to Deku in anything, at least not gracefully.]
He wanders over to the collection of games and sifts through them curiously, considering his options carefully. It's been a long time since he played a video game, though-- not owning any of the current generation consoles, all the titles are unfamiliar to him. Eventually, he finds what looks like a recent port-over of an old gen racing game they used to play when they were kids, and holds it up for Bakugou to see.]
[There's a bit of the old Bakugou shining through. He glances up at the game Izuku had picked, and of course he'd pick one they used to play as kids. Fucking Deku, getting all sentimental about the past. Never mind the fact that Bakugou bought it with his own money because he specifically remembers enjoying it so much.]
Whatever.
[Bakugou hooks up the appropriate console and pops the game in before handing Deku a controller with a little scowl on his face. Deku touching his shit doesn't sit well with him at first, but if he really didn't want it to happen he never would've kinda sorta invited him to hang out.
He plops on the floor and picks out a track for them to start out on because fuck if he's going to let Deku pick everything.]
Remember when I kicked your ass at this game, Deku?

[Not that he's not glad.

[He grins at Bakugou, unbothered. Like the memory of it doesn't faze him in the slightest.]
I'm not the same as I was back then, though! I think I can give you a run for your money, now!
[Or-- well, he tries, anyway. But he hasn't played this game in a million years and even with his improved reflexes, it shows.]
