fast and loose role-play

free and easy love, that's how it's s'posed to be!

want to thread with one of mine but aren't in the same game? want me to do something with one of yours in bakerstreet? can't find a good recent bakerstreet meme but want to thread anyway? want to explore au scenarios together? annoyed that i dropped that character you really wanted a thread with?

well drop me a comment here with whatever scenario (or link to a meme) you want, specify the character you want, and we can thread the merry day away!

any active or retired character from the muse list with two stars or more is fair game!

homeless characters are slightly different in that most of them don't have journals or icons set up, so you may have to give me a day or so to do that. and in some cases, a couple more days to canon review if i haven't in a while.
hackitude: ew, nope, shrug (it's passion it's not love)

Eh, I didn't say they were all smart. And anyway, how do you know it wasn't a HYDRA agent?
biggerstick: (I'm insightful)

[personal profile] biggerstick 2014-05-21 05:27 am (UTC)(link)
That's the thing, they were the same thing.
hackitude: confused, contemplative (look inside your heart)

[personal profile] hackitude 2014-05-21 05:33 am (UTC)(link)
... Hey. Just 'cause some of them were scum-bags...
biggerstick: (who do you think I am?)

[personal profile] biggerstick 2014-05-21 05:39 am (UTC)(link)
No kid, think about it. It was set-up like that from the beginning. You get a bunch of smart kids, recruit them from a young age, teach them to follow orders without question. You know what that sounds like? Hitler Youth. The entirety of SHIELD was like that. We're saving the world, trust those above you, trust the system.

It was broken and I still can't believe it took us them turning against Captain America to see it.
hackitude: unsure, confused, disbelief (to write this confession down)

[personal profile] hackitude 2014-05-21 05:44 am (UTC)(link)
You think I don't know that? I've always been against the whole "trust the system" bull. The system is stupid. It's landed us in trouble more times than it's ever saved us.
biggerstick: (I'm insightful)

[personal profile] biggerstick 2014-05-21 05:47 am (UTC)(link)
Your entire team was part of that system. Steve had the right idea, taking it all down.
hackitude: unsure, surprised, serious (you don't even know)

[personal profile] hackitude 2014-05-21 05:49 am (UTC)(link)
... I'm not disagreeing with you, dumbass. Hell, before I joined SHIELD, all I wanted to do was bring them down and put their secrets out into the open.
biggerstick: (grape?)

[personal profile] biggerstick 2014-05-21 05:51 am (UTC)(link)
... and now you're secretly working for SHIELD with a SHIELD team on a plane previously owned by SHIELD. How did you fall so low?
hackitude: confused, contemplative (look inside your heart)

[personal profile] hackitude 2014-05-21 05:54 am (UTC)(link)
... They're good people. And they're actually dedicated to... y'know, helping people. I guess I got attached.
biggerstick: (little shit)

[personal profile] biggerstick 2014-05-21 05:57 am (UTC)(link)
You don't need to keep the association with a nazi group to help people.
hackitude: disbelief (just a lonely radio)

[personal profile] hackitude 2014-05-21 06:03 am (UTC)(link)
What do you suggest? Working for you? Doing... what? Systems analysis in one of your corporate offices? Or maybe going back to living out of my purple van and hacking government websites until I get picked up by another organisation? One that maybe isn't quite so interested in hiring me and more interested in locking me away for good?

... Besides. This is personal, now. You might not have a vendetta against HYDRA, but I sure as hell do.
biggerstick: (grape?)

[personal profile] biggerstick 2014-05-21 06:08 am (UTC)(link)
Not to pull the tragic backstory card, but HYDRA had my parents killed.

[personal profile] hackitude 2014-05-21 06:13 am (UTC)(link)
... Yeah. I read. Like I said, I'm... kind of like the Jarvis of my team. But-- everyone internalizes their crap differently. I mean... if you aren't into going after them then that's your business. I'm not judging. I'm just saying, I am. Going after them, I mean.

[personal profile] biggerstick 2014-05-21 06:15 am (UTC)(link)
You don't think you'd have an easier time hunting them down with my resources? Less risky too, god I could get you and your team proper funding— though it depends on who this AC person actually is.
hackitude: snark, eyebrows raised (or as i call it: THE DEATH STAR)

[personal profile] hackitude 2014-05-21 06:18 am (UTC)(link)
Funding, huh? Now you're speaking my language.

AC is AC. You'll see when we get there.
biggerstick: (grape?)

[personal profile] biggerstick 2014-05-21 06:20 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, I'm fluent in Money. Nice language, easy to understand.
hackitude: snark, unimpressed (you print the bible on him)

[personal profile] hackitude 2014-05-21 06:29 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, don't get the wrong idea. I'm not some... cheap sell-out who'll compromise their goals or ideals for a bit of moolah. Even though it's ... not my decision to make ... but I have a vote! Kind of.
biggerstick: (fuck me)

[personal profile] biggerstick 2014-05-21 06:32 am (UTC)(link)
We'll see.

[he's expecting this to end in a yelling match or with a lot of arrests. Or a yelling match followed by an arrest.]
