I had it under control. I would've been fine. He doesn't trust that I can handle myself!

He Force-yanked me backwards and I fell on my butt. It was really embarrassing!

[Luke can't help but snicker.]

I think he was just worried. He loves you, so he gets worried.

[He's not sure his father has nearly the same concern for- no, don't get caught in childish envy. He's met his father; that's already more than he could ever ask.]

[Somewhat petulant:] I know.

But can't he be worried and trust me at the same time? Besides, if I never make any mistakes, how am I going to learn?

So, what's Skyguy doing in the future if he's not a Jedi? Mechanic? Pilot? I bet he's a pilot.

[ Someone didn't inherit either of his parent's skill for lying. ]

... What? [Ahsoka scrunches her nose up.] That doesn't make any sense.

[ Wait, Ben fed him an implausible lie? ] What? Why?

Master Skywalker doesn't even like spice. He says it's got links to the slave trade, and the people who profit off it are criminals.

[t65]

[ Luke, child of the Outer Rim, shrugs. ] It's just spice. Without the profits and the trade, industry on the Rim would dry up, and water taxes would skyrocket. Not to mention the slave trade- that'd get even worse without the spice runs to bring business off planet.

[resnipstance]

... Huh. I guess Master really mellows out in the future...

[Or, you know. The opposite.]

That's... one way to describe it, I guess. [ Ha... ] Is there anything else you want to know-? Oh, or we could do some exercises, if you want. Fun ones, I promise.

Yeah! [Sort of.] She's in training like me. She has more time to train, now that we're away from the senate and the Alliance everything.
